Communications
The Office of Communications offers an array of internal services to the
agency in the areas of Graphic Art & Design, Public Relations and
Web Design.
Graphic Art & Design services provided by the office include graphic design, layout and formatting of all agency marketing and communications printed materials. The Graphic Art & Design team is responsible to ensure that all agency printed materials are produced with a level of consistency, uniformity, professionalism and brand identity. All agency staff members are encouraged to utilize the services of the graphics team to produce items such as:
- brochures
- flyers
- stationery
- catalogs
- invitations
- programs
- presentation materials
- NCR forms
Public Relations & Promotions services provided by the office are designed to promote the work of the agency and help shape a positive image for Eastern Suffolk BOCES in the media and among the public at large. All agency staff members are encouraged to utilize the services of the public relations team for the following:
- Publicizing the achievements of students and staff through the sharing
of success stories and information affecting regional education priorities
- Assisting the administration and faculty in creating and implementing marketing strategies
- Responding to media inquiries
- Providing photography services at agency events
- Coordinating with the agency's external public relations consultants to speak on behalf of the agency to the news media during breaking news and in times of crisis
The Web Design services provided by the office offer all programs, facilities and services throughout the agency, customized representation on the agency Web site. The office is responsible for the overall quality, design, functionality and usability of the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Web site. The office is charged with policy recommendations, setting procedures and establishing and maintaining guidelines intended to ensure a common look, feel and uniform navigation systems among the numerous sub-sites under the agency Web umbrella.
